VSKYLABS Aeroprakt A22-LS Project

XP12 - v3.1.2 - (21st March 2026)

  • Updated documentation structure:
    • All project documentation transferred to the VSKYLABS Aeroprakt A22-LS section in the VSKYLABS Aircraft Center.
    • Updated included documentation.
  • Removed Skunkcrafts updater:
    • Product updates are no longer supported via Skuncrafts Updater.
    • The most updated version of the product is available via the user-account at the store.

XP12 - v3.1.1 (3rd June 2025):

  • Airspeed indicator display systems update:
    • Now incorporating separate Knots, MPH, KPH systems for better readability. Implemented with cyclic mechanism (on-screen/VR interaction and/or key/Joystick assignment).
  • AOA Indicator
    • Added option to set it off (on-screen/VR interaction or key/Joystick assignment).

XP12 - v3.1 (20th October 2024):

  • Interaction:
    • VSKYLABS 'Cockpit-Builders-Heaven' was implemented, allowing to assign all aircraft switches, knobs, levers and interactions in a designated, cluttered section in the X-Plane 12 assignment screen.
    • Windows gets automatically closed when the aircraft is airborne.
  • Systems:
    • Brakes lever is now coupled with the throttle lever, as in the real-world aircraft. The brakes lever moves along with the throttle lever, back and forth, while the pilot can grab the brakes lever and squeeze it in for braking.
    • Brakes lever is programmed to allow button activation with 5 'steps' for push and release. This 'saves' and axis in favor of buttons for hardware-using pilots. Using the 'wing sweep' axis is still an option (when using the buttons method - do not assign the wing-sweep axis as it may cause operation conflict).
  • Graphics:
    • Minor tough for fuselage PBR (reducing over-reflective surface).

XP12 - v3.0 (3rd May 2023):

  • Flight dynamics model:
    • Compete overhaul and perfromance verification.
    • Rotax 912ULS engine tuneups (power, power gradients and fuel consumption).
    • Update and tuneups for XP12 latest landing gears physics.
  • Systems:
    • Implemented the Alpha Systems AOA indicator.
  •  Sounds:
    • New FMOD 2.0 sound pack.
  • Graphics:
    • Remodeled 3-d cockpit panel.
    • Remodeled 3-d gauges bezeles, compass case, AP case, yokes.
    • Improved PBR and textures all-around, in and out.
    • Remodeled 3-d landing gears.
    • Paint-Kit update.
  • Interactions:
    • Replaced 3-d checklist element (paper only, placed in a dedicated placeholder instead of being above the main panel).

XP12 - v2.2a (24th December 2022):

  • Minor fix to faulty fuel tanks names in X-Plane GUI.

XP12 - v2.2 (4th December 2022):

  • Interior lighting system reset and retuned to comply with the modified X-Plane 12.00r1+ lighting engine.

XP12 - v2.1 (23th November 2022):

  • Updater software replaced - from STMA to SkunkCrafts.

XP12 - v2.0 (September 2022):

  • X-Plane 12 - Initial version release.

XP11 - v1.07c - (29th December 2021):

  • Airspeed indicator Kilometer Per-Hour scale was added.
  • Manual/POH was updated with instructions for toggling between Knots/Mph and Kph scales.

XP11 - v1.07 - (6th July 2021):

  • Interactions update:
    • Brakes lever now can be assigned to the 'wing-sweep' axis, to allow binding of hardware axis to the lever.
    • GNS430 missing pop-up interaction zone was fixed.

XP11 - v1.05c (14th June 2021):

  • Flight Model Refinement:
    • Engine operational envelope tune-up for sub-zero / 30-50 degrees C outside air temperature.

XP11 - v1.05 (1st May 2021):

  • Flight Model Refinement:
    • Flaps, rudder and aerodynamic tuneup to simulate slide-slipping with enhanced realism.

XP11 - v1.0 (29th April 2021):

  • Initial version release.
