Essential General Notices - Spoilers and Wheel Brake:

  • The spoilers system is integrated with the wheel-brake system, just like the real-world SF-28A Tandem Falke. Full travel of the spoilers lever in the ‘out’ position (aft position) operates the wheel brake.

  • Standard operation of the brakes using the ‘b’ or ‘v’ keys will not work! Your Spoilers (Speed brakes) axis/assignment will operate the wheel-brake when fully applied!

  • The VSKYLABS Tandem-Falke spoilers/brake system is set with dynamic/adaptive braking power which changes with ground speed, which reduces the actual braking power in touchdown speed and above, when the spoilers are fully out.

Essential General Notices - Weight and Payload:

  • When loading the aircraft in X-Plane, the default load status includes Pilot in the front seat and 50% fuel.
  • The user can manage the back-seat weight to increase payload weight. When the passenger weight exceeds a reasonable value, the passenger will be seen sitting in the back-seat.
  • The passenger may be added by clicking on the passenger’s back-seat touch-zone. When the passenger weight is added, the passenger is visible. Clicking on the back-seat touch-zone will toggle the passenger with an initial weight of 70 kgs.

NON-STANDARD Essential Joystick/Key Assignments

The aircraft is optimized for 2-d / VR operations using the virtual manipulators (via mouse and/or touch controller). 

The following are the non-standard assignments for key/button operation:
